Founder story

Maraña Yerba Mate is a startup from Münster and was founded in 2018 by friends Stefan & Maximilian.

When we read a time ago in a US magazine about Yerba Mate, we were immediately overwhelmed. From history, cultural significance in South America and above all the considerable potential for body, mind and soul. Since we found no mate tea on the market that convinced us completely, we looked for the best Yerba Mate tea in the world and finally found it in the rainforest of Brazil. Since then, we have been working with great passion on our mission. Be there, together we make Yerba Mate tea familiar!
